一、學院介紹
南京大學人工智能學院于2018年3月5日下文、5月20日掛牌,是我國C9高校中首個人工智能學院,致力于建設人工智能領域國際一流學術重鎮和拔尖創新人才培養基地。學院成立五年來取得了長足發展,建設了一支由世界級專家領銜、青年學者蓬勃成長、具有國際影響力的高水平教師隊伍,并在前沿科技研究、國家重大工程、產學研協同創新方面不斷取得重要進展。
二、招聘崗位設置
南京大學人工智能學院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事人工智能各主要研究方向的優秀人才到學院工作。本次擬招聘崗位以準聘助理教授為主,崗位總數不超過3人,特別優秀的高層次人才崗位可另議。研究方向包括:
1.人工智能基礎理論
2.人工智能模型算法
3.人工智能應用技術
4.人工智能系統平臺
三、應聘條件
1.遵守中華人民共和國法律和法規,熱愛教學科研事業;
2.具有良好的師德師風,恪守學術道德,勤勉工作,無犯罪記錄,無違反師德師風和學術道德懲處記錄;
3.一流的學術背景:具有國內外一流大學的人工智能、計算機科學與技術或其他相關學科的博士學位(更高層次崗位應聘者取得博士學位至申請截止日期應不少于兩年),具有一流教學科研機構的學習、工作經驗,熟悉相關領域國際前沿的研究動態;
4.出色的教學能力:應具有能夠勝任人工智能專業核心基礎課程和前沿課程的教學能力(應聘準聘副教授崗位應具有不少于60學時教學經歷),掌握良好的教學方法,具有較強的語言表達能力;
5.突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發展潛力:應有相關研究方向的成果顯示度,對相關研究領域有原創性觀點,未來研究計劃思路清晰,具有較好的學術潛力。

I.About theDepartment
The School of Artificial Intelligence of Nanjing University was founded on May 20, 2018 and it isknown asthe firstschool ofartificial intelligenceamong the C9 universities inChina. It is committed to building a world-class academic center in the field of artificial intelligence and a top-notch training base for innovative talents. Theschoolhasachievedpromising successsinceits establishment.The faculty members consist of world-class experts,senior researchers with impact on international research communities, and a group of rising young scholars.By the efforts made by every faculty members,the schoolis sailingin cutting-edge scientific and technological research, national major projects, and industry-university-research collaborative innovation.
II. Description of Openings
The positions are mainly for tenure-trackassistant professor, and the total number of positions does not exceed three. The applicants fromhigh-level talents with exceptionally outstanding records are also accepted and the positions will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Research interests include:
(1)Basic theory of artificial intelligence
(2)Artificial intelligence model algorithm
(3) Artificial intelligence application technology
(4)Artificial intelligence system platform
III. Conditions for Application
The applicant should
(1)Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;
(2)Abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
(3)have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD degree inartificialintelligence, computer science or a related area(Candidates for thehigh-level position must have held a PhD degreeno less than two years before the application deadline), experience in studying and/orworking at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research fields;
(4)have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the Artificial Intelligence discipline (Applicants for tenure-track associateprofessor position should have at least 60 class hours of teaching experience),and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
(5)Demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
IV. Supporting Materials for Application
(1)Application letter(the applied research direction and position should be clear);
(2) Detailed curriculum vitae(including publication list and project experience);
(3) No more than 3 representative works and academic contribution and influence (no more than 2000 words);
(4) Research plan and research potential;
(5) Teaching experience and teaching plan;
(6) Three letters of recommendation.

V. Compensation Package and Support
A successful applicant will be provided with:
(1)An annual salary (to be worked out individually);
(2)A start-up fund for research;
(3) Qualification to supervise graduate students;
(4)The university provides short-term lodging and housing subsidies. Applicants recruited can purchase commercial housing offered by the university at a special discount;
(5)The university provides assistance with children’s schooling at primary and secondary school levels.
